New PSP Games Announcement
Tiger Ninjas Hit the Streets
For all you thumb-tapping PSP fans, two new titles have hit the shelves this week. EA SPORTS™ tees off with Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 09 and Atari kicks it up with N+; both are available now in stores across North America.
Tiger Woods 09 Scores Big
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 09 is the newest title in the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR franchise from the leading interactive sports software brand in the world, EA SPORTS™. The game has gotten rave reviews from critics and was nominated for best sports game at the 2008 E3 Media and Business Summit in Los Angeles, California. One of the great things about this game is that it appeals to both the rookie and pro gamer alike.
One of the features in this year’s edition is called Performance Coach, where you get to be coached by Tiger Woods very own swing coach, Hank Haney. He provides feedback after each round in hopes you advance to win the FedEx Cup.
You never play a hole the same way twice and just as you would during a real game of golf, you make adjustments and improvements to your game. Well, it’s the same as in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09, a player’s skill level is constantly changing due to the adjustments you make through each round.
Another feature new to the game is called Club Tuner, this allows each player to calibrate, test, and customize their clubs. So you can create a unique bag of clubs specific to a course.
Now you can play as many as four players at the same time per hole with the new online engine in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09. Each player can swing when they are ready, making for faster and more realistic gameplay.
There is no doubt that Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 09 is a hit with PSP gamers, so if you haven’t already joined the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR fan club, now is a good time.
A+ for N+
For all those who got hooked on N, the infamous flash ninja game (very reminiscent of Lode Runner), Atari has now released its predecessor N+ created by Metanet Software and developed by SilverBirch Studio. But the proof is in the pudding, N+ was named “Best Platform Game” for Nintendo DS from IGN and “Best in Show” for PSP system from Gaming Excellence.
What does the + really get you? New features like several multiplayer modes (including wireless) and level sharing via the Internet, cartridge sharing ability, downloadable content, and community leader boards. Plus now, you can design your own maps and share them with others with the built-in level editor.
“N+ has taken its amazing acrobatics and simple-but-fast gameplay and has clearly become a standout hit,” said David Geudelekian, Producer, Atari, Inc.
N+ is rated E for Everyone and is available for PSP systems at the MSRP of $19.99. So PSPers hook up to the Internet because it’s time to battle to see who’s the greatest ninja of them all!
