HR, training, and technical writing experience:
• Medical Knowledge Group – Developed a series of digital/in-person learning modules on tardive dyskinesia for the long-term care community.
• Pfizer – Created social posts informing Pfizer employees of the progress of their Covid-19 anti-viral treatment in development.
• Rapp Collins Worldwide – Assisted HR to develop skills and a personal enrichment program called MindFarm.
• Rapp Collins Worldwide – Copywriter on the “Intro to 6 Sigma” training video and the video script for the CEO.
• Premera Blue Cross/Blue Shield – Internal Comms Writer – supported the executive communications department and focused on internal communication. Worked with senior leadership to manage and coordinate internal communication in a compelling and strategic manner. Other duties included editing and writing reports, emails, monthly newsletters, key business updates, event initiative updates, holiday/awareness, and other HR/employee engagement pieces.
• Writer on Texas Disposal Systems employee benefits package and new employee welcome letter.
• Senior content writer on RVOS Insurance‘s membership publication. Created pertinent articles for members and the forward from the President of the company in each issue.
• Copywriter for different National brands creating educational content (i.e. Nestle Very Best Kids, Credit Union of Texas, RVOS Insurance, etc.).
• Whole Foods Market – Sr. Copywriter/copyeditor/proofreader for the Learning & Development Department. Developed a 10-module leadership training course amongst others.
• Nassau Community College – Worked in the Public Relations Department writing press releases to local media about events and happenings at the school.
• Technical writer/editor for various instruction manuals and online courses. Clients: Abiie, LIQUORexam.com, and CollegeTrack
• Compucook – Provided onsite tech training to grocery store managers throughout New Mexico.
• Inspired Mind Art Center – Art Teacher. Developed art programs for both adults and children.
• Buda Area Artist Collective – Executive Board Member and helped create marketing material for new membership acquisition, organization events, and social media initiatives.
• Buda Public Library – Created a Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) “Build a Character” training presentation and trained 20 “newbies” (adults and teenagers) on creating new characters for a beginner game campaign. I now head the D&D program at the library.
